Is it possible to grow taller after puberty?

Posted by admin

I am 19 years old male 5′8 in height and am very unhappy about it. Is it possible to grow any taller?
You don’t have to be unhappy about your height! Your’re within what I call the common range for guys, which is either 5′6″-6′2″ or 5′8″-6′2″. Some people have to end up being the shorter person and that’s just life. You still have a year left of possible growth, but you’re already at a fine height. You have great options for dating; you can date cute girls who are around 5′2″ like a previous girl said and many shorter girls are very attractive; they will definitely like a 5′8″ guy!

Well you are always growing, but you grow the most when you are going through puberty.

If you don't grow anymore, take advantage of dating the cute little girls who are about 5'2.
    I mean I'm 5'2 and probably won't be getting any taller :)

try Maxagen supplement , i'm not 100% sure it works but i started taking it about 3 weeks ago and am starting to grow about half an inch taller. I am also doing stretching exercises so that might be helping

    P.S. i'm a 21 year old male

You should be done with growing by now. However the amount of sleep you get directly impacts growth since you grow while you are asleep. Try getting plenty of sleep and drink lots of water. Also take a multivitamin everyday. The chances that you could grow diminish more with time. But if you are going to grow anymore it would be in the next year.

At 19 it is not likely that you will grow any taller, but it is not impossible that you could grow a little or even a lot more. When David Robinson was a freshman at the Naval Academy he was 6'7"(the maximum height for fitting into a uniform). When he graduated, he was 7'1".

Unfortunately at 19, it is very unlikely that you will grow any taller, unless you went through puberty at a very late age (say 16/17 y/o). Why are you "very unhappy" – you are simply on the lower side of the average male height range. Unless you desperately want to be a basketball player, it's your personality that counts, not your height. Concentrate on becoming a good listener and talker, and making people laugh. If you are good at those social skills, people (especially women) will not even notice how tall you are.

You're not likely to grow any more. The only way you will eventually grow is side to side! That's what happens with age. Enjoy your youth while you have it, cuz old age is coming around the bend.
